Will Hernandez give up the number or is he going to need a new name?

NFL network just showed a clip of him practicing with the team.

Hernandez just got a tan. That wasn't Ocho.

Ocho can't practice until a couple of days. Some FA bull-**** rule so it was Aaron surely

I was being sarcastic, it was 100% Ocho. You think you know a lot more than you do. Stop.

Hernandez is now Ocho Uno and Ocho Cinco is preserved...

According to Rappaport no money was needed, Hernandez gave it up. Or at least no money was reported to have changed hands, perhaps it will be made up in another way..

Gracious player 86’s compensation for 85 - BostonHerald.com

FOXBORO — The Patriots [team stats] didn’t acquire a receiver named OchoUno or OchoNueve after all.

Chad Ochocinco, who came over to New England in a trade from Cincinnati on Thursday, was on the practice field wearing his familiar No. 85 yesterday. And it didn’t cost him anything, either, according to a source.

Second-year tight end Aaron Hernandez graciously gave up the number he wore last year to don his old University of Florida number of 81.
