Who do you want to face in the SB

i'd be on edge if it were the giants

I'm sure someone else already said it, but I would like to play the New York Football Giants. I think this time it would truly be a fantastic Super Bowl. I think they match up pretty well with us and would definitely give us a chance at redemption.

Carolina Panthers. I just want to win the game, baby.

Here's what I want: A nice, peaceful Super Bowl against the Bears (or similarly flawed NFC team) where we lead 33-0 at halftime and coast to a pleasant 54-3 win. No more 3-point fourth-quarter cliffhangers, thank you very much. HOWEVER, I could be persuaded to trade that idea in for a 1-point victory over Philadelphia if Michael Vick's face becomes permanently and grotesquely disfigured in the process. OR, a win over the Giants in which an Eli Manning pick six is the margin of difference.

watching the Giants pass rush right now is bringing back unpleasant memories. i for one would rather not play this team in the super bowl, were we fortunate enough to make it there. that defensive line looks every bit as good -- and mean -- as it did in 07. they are CRUSHING vick right now.

refuse to vote for if I do we won't make it.

I guess I just don't get some of the answers in this thread. The goal is to win the game, not to play a really good team and battle it out. If it were possible, I'd want them to face the 2008 Lions.

100% agree. They only hand out one Lombardi, not two different trophies depending on whether you won a tough game or an easy game. 25 years later, people don't remember that Joe won two of his rings by a combined margin of nine points and the other two by a combined margin of 67 points; they just remember that he won four SB's.

Heck, I'd keep in the family and want them to face the 1990 Pats!

Seattle Seahawks

Bring em on :rocker:

eagles are NOT the team I would want to face. they have a good passing game and have big time playmakers. our DBs would have trouble with Jackson.

Actually want to change my pick since I just noticed the Arizona Cardinals are still in the picture.

Gimme the Cards :rocker:

Saints. There's one active HOF QB that the Patriots have not yet beat. Drew Brees.

I blame you for whats happening right now. Enough of these SB threads. Win or Lose!
