If Belichick were to leave tomorow, who would you want running the team?

Weiss.

Or Troy Brown could just jump straight to coaching.

Charlie Weis or Andy Reid (and in that order).

Shouldn't the real quesion be. "If NEM were to leave tomorrow, who would you want running the team?" :D

Just playing along... BB leaves tomorrow. Pioli takes the GM role for the Giants when Accorsi leaves at the end of the season....

I say let Kraft coach for the rest of the year (did you know he has a stop watch and a whistle?) and then hire Jeff Fisher at the end of the season when his contract expires.

I think I'd like Fox but I don't think he's leaving Carolina anytime soon.

Seconded. I'd also be happy with any of Weis, Crennel, Marv Lewis, Reid, Cowher or Lovie Smith.

Give me JEFF FISHER..............The Titans were Bowl contenders for a long time until the front office gave him a bunch of scrubs to work with. The guy is one heck of a coach.

Alright, if you stick-in-the-muds are going to take BB's prison term seriously...

Dean Pees.

My choice is Charlie...who would be nutty to leave ND under any circumstances...

After him?...oh crap. The prospects are too depressing to think about.

I honestly don't have an answer. Anyway, it wouldn't matter, because I would have already jumped off a bridge.

Mike Shanahan or Rod Rust.

Lets be realistic here, in a situation where Belichick is no longer around who would you want running the team

Realistic? I think it would be Dante Scarnecchia (as interim). After that, from within I think Dean Pees would have to be a candidate.

Weis or Reid also for me

In this order:

Jimmy Johnson
Weis
Andy Reid
Shanahan
Kurt Ferentz

There is NOBODY on the current coaching staff that can or is ready to take over this team.

It's a good thing I don't believe in karma, or this thread would have me jumping off a bridge today!

Harumph, if you don't like my choice of Dean Pees, try Pat Hill.

I also want to put in an honorable mention:

Joe Cullen of the Detroit Lions.

That guy would work his pants off!!!!!
