Since about 1-2 months whenever I post in a thread using my iPad, I have to close the virtual keypad before the screen will react when I tap the post button.

Do you know if that Is an iOS update change or something peculiar /new to Patsfans (your coding)?

Not a huge deal, but it just annoyed me throughout the draft.

Nothing on my end (no site changes). But I noticed after the last time my own iPad updated it’s been a bit of a pain…although I have an older one so I do wonder if that’s my issue…?

Interesting. I’ve noticed what I now think is the same issue. But I found other workarounds, like refreshing the screen. I’ve learned to copy whatever I’ve written into the paste buffer because it may sometimes disappear (I suspect that’s interaction with cloudflare) although usually it doesn’t. My way might just close the kb. Sometimes it feels like the iPad screen driver doesn’t want to recognize the tap (regardless of kb state) and even just scrolling is enough. Or reorienting from landscape (my usual) to portrait. I’ve been blaming my old iPad and iOS. I won’t update because I read the new versions force even more AI whether you want it or not.

Anyway, TL;DR: probably iOS driver stack got munged up stuffing more AI auto corrupt predictive text support into it.
