Shockingly not all sunshine and rainbows
Bill went to war with his men. He was the General. His men loved him. Kraft is the ****ty president taking credit for victories. Loyalty and respect happen in the trenches. I’ve had a problem with Kraft years ago when he forced houses near Gillette stadium to stop having parking on game day. Stealing money from the little guy to line his pockets. Then builds huge parking lots charging 60$ plus a vehicle. PrickThis obviously jives with what we saw on stage with the shots. And unfortunately not surprising.
Which I think makes it big that Hart made them do that. Also big to hear they talked for ten minutes after this initial awkward moment.
Now next time they get together it starts to be more and more in the past. I don't suspect it will ever be good but hopefully they're not skipping anniversaries like Francona.
It's also interesting that at least with this story Bill comes off as one of the boys. Where Kraft comes off as management or even The Godfather.
Always remember that team owners are business first. It's the tough part to accept in all sports. Rk is no different.. it's revenue first everything else is secondary. You definitely have valid gripes as Foxborough is a town of working class people not the affluent community in Brookline, weston or Sunday where all the Boston sports teams owners live.Bill went to war with his men. For me, as a fan I'm thankful for all 3 men. They collective made it possible for us to have we had the last 2 decades. Neither one of them should have any issues with one another. All 3 men gained generations of wealth, and HOF nods. This obviously jives with what we saw on stage with the shots. And unfortunately not surprising.

I don't remember all the details around this but I thought it was more about keeping traffic on Rte 1 and not on the surrounding streets. This allows for the VIP access road to actually work. Which I suppose is in place for the highest spenders (luxury boxes and club seats with more than 2 seats) so in that way I guess it's about money.Bill went to war with his men. He was the General. Yes you right. But he went to the town to get laws changed under the guise of fires and fire trucks not being able to get to peoples houses during the games. Everybody had cars all over their lawns. Blue collar making a few bucks is what I saw.I don't remember all the details around this but I thought it was more about keeping traffic on Rte 1 and not on the surrounding streets. My brother lives right behind the stadium and we get use of the access road as Foxboro residents so my opinion is definitely biased. Keep your cars off my roads lol I enjoy being able to get in and out without it taking 4 hours.
I was in a chalet with a group of friends back in the 70's for about 8 years in the North Conway area of NH. I was there every weekend but I only went skiing twice. I hated it both times. Some of us wouldVery cool, imagine you mean edinboro… I’ve been there a few times, my first time skiing was in edinboro. Talk about a disaster!
100% True. However, there are three enormous egos so it's just human nature that there would be envy and resentment in their relationships. For me, as a fan I'm thankful for all 3 men. There shouldn't be any strife whatsoever TB12, Bill, and RK all collectively played huge instrumental roles in 6 superbowls 2 decades of dominance.
Agreed. Success breeds ego's... I've always said Brady is probably the most humble..superstar athlete ever..100% True. However, there are three enormous egos so it's just human nature that there would be envy and resentment in their relationships.
I do however believe thier was a power struggle within the organization towards the end.. as Bill had full control over everything, and Kraft started to have a more collaborative approach on things.. I'm sure Bill didn't mind it.. less work and more pay.. how the results worsened. Bill knew he was on borrowed time I believe. It was time for BB to go with the bad drafts and poor roster/coaching hire decisions.
but......
there was no reason for Kraft to trash him on the way out and release that garbage Apple series hit piece on Bill.
He reminds me of Bobby Orr. Great on the field/ice and off.Agreed. Success breeds ego's... I've always said Brady is probably the most humble..superstar athlete ever..
Agreed another such humble star his own right. He reminds me of Bobby Orr. Great on the field/ice and off.
