Wow! That sucks. It has been a rough couple of years for Solder and his family. I wish his son a speedy recovery.

No issues growing up with only one kidney?

I had to have yearly kidney function tests and physicals until age 12. Also, I wasn't allowed to play any contact sports (football). But other then that I'm perfectly normal.

I did a quick search. Wilms tumor accounts for 95% of childhood kidney cancer and long term survival is 90-95%. Praying for Nate and family.

Gotta find hope and optimism where you can with this type of gut-wrenching situation.
