Why are so many fans eager to get rid of Seymour? I don't get it.

I don't think the Pats can retain Seymour after this year unless

they come up with Haynesworth money. The Pats won't. Better

a high draft pick now than a late 3rd round pick later.

I don't think many serious Pats fans are eager to get rid of Seymour. I do think that there is a belief that Seymour will be gone at the end of his current contract.

My own guess (and it's purely a guess) is that Seymour has been slowed by his injuries more than he has ever let on and more than we typically appreciate.
