I see either Hernndez or Gronk having a huge game..it will be one or the other...as usual it seems....here are the broncos fans and how they think they will play the Tes

How do we stop the TE's - Page 2 - Broncos Country Message Boards

You see more zone or man from the D? I see more man as with no real big WR deep threat...plus..i feel as of bradys mouth waters every time he sees zone as he picks it apart

AH was right. Pick your poison.

Shade Gronk with a LB and DB, AH is 1:1 and Welker is until he gets 15 yds downfield is 1:1. Welker gets 1:1 at the LoC and a LB comes undernearth the route and that leaves either Gronk or AH 1:1.

Defenses have been trying to do this all year. This isn't like 07 where if you cover Moss deep and pick up Welker at 10yds...All 3 players can hit you 15 yds if you don't pick them up.

If the Broncos have the pass rush of the century on Sat then the Pats are in trouble. They, however don't.

As long as the D is serviceable- Game over.

even if they cover the TEs brady will find other ppl to throw to :rocker:

I think Tebow will cover Gronk

Hey, he has "GOD" on his side according to analyst. Everyone is jumping on the devine train. We have been disrespected far to long, its Brady time, lol...

We have a QB who plays the position better than GOD could have played.......:rocker:

They're forgetting that the Patriots are fully capable of running it down their throats...Patriots with a efficient running game is game over

I had forgotten til today that Branch is among the players who missed the last Pats-Broncs game. (Which maybe explains the Ocho TD ...). His return should help things too.

I don't see Gronk having a monster game- I believe he will be used mostly to block or at least chip the outside rushers, like he was in the first game. He should have an impact in the red zone though.

Denver had a real problem with AH. They had no answer for him.

A lot of that depends on how healthy the OL is.

I hear you man, but reading the practice reports this weeks this team is as healthy as it has ever been all season.

Herm Edwards says they need to bracket Welker, hit Gronk off the line and cover AHern with Champ Bailey. Assuming you have a single high safety, someone covering the opposite WR and a LB with responsibility for the RB sliding out of the backfield, that is 7 people in coverage with the guy chucking Gronk delaying his pass rush to slow Gronk's release. That leaves a 3-man initial rush and still results in single coverage on Branch/Ocho, Gronk and the RB. That also leaves the Broncos exposed to draw plays since the LBs would be stretched thin. Now throw in some bunch formations if they show zone or movement if they show man...

Well the Broncos need to hope for a Brady clunker game.

Reports on Mankins today weren't particularly cheery.
OHH NOOO

That or for the pats to start slow like they have been...it's the last thing we need on saturday...can't give a quick 10-7 to denver...Pats need to score first i feel

Does anyone see the Broncos selling out early? What I mean by that is the Bills got up 21points with only one "normal" drive. They got a first down with a fake punt that kept the first drive going. Then on the second drive, they go for it on 4th down in there own end.

Does anyone think Fox would have the balls to do this in a playoff game on the road?

I highly doubt it. From every Broncos game I've seen, (which admittedly, haven't been many) Fox seems to go as standard as they come. I mean remember when he wouldn't go for it on 4 and 1 against the Pats?

I don't have much faith in Fox, but last week's game plan really surprised me.

I'd be very concerned about 4th and short. I'm sure that was a point of emphasis in the practices.
