Just my opinion,,, i hate gameday threads,,,,too busy either watching or listening to the game. So i say NO gameday threads, and just come back after the game and say what you have to say. Cheers
Oh, there's another idea. Have a 1,000 post maximum, or 5,000 or something. Or, even better, instill a yearly ceiling. Yeah, like only 1,000 comments per every football season.
Thus, if you criticize the New England Patriots football team in any manner, you are condemned to the depths of hell! Brilliant!Unless there is a new rule that posters shouldn't be allowed to criticize any aspect of the team, and especially Brady or Belichick, until a game is officially over.
Internet Gestapo! Brilliant! So much for the land of free and the home of the brave?Oh, there's another idea. Have a 1,000 post maximum, or 5,000 or something. Or, even better, instill a yearly ceiling. Yeah, like only 1,000 comments per every football season. I mean, anything over that you just need to get your head examined.
See this? Now yo're mixing and matching things I said in 2 different comments. I painted Mo as Hitler-esque for his megalomaniacal post a page or two ago.
THEN, in ANOTHER comment...
Nikoli, ever think of this? There's a lot of people who visit here for the fisrt few times thinking of jining and making a page and posting over here, but then they see almost every thread flooded with a dozen or two's worth of guys with freaking 15,000 posts and sh*t. Dude, that's freaking ridiculous.
one question: Can a fairly knowledgeable and fair football guy (me) post a negative post without being accused of being a troll?
That's why I don't touch the game day thread with a ten foot pole. I, and others, have discovered the best kept secret on this forum when it comes to game days. :rocker:

I have yet mocked a paranoid homer moderator within this thread. Here is one thing I will moderate on this thread. That is mocking and mentioning other posters by name.
I have deleted 2 posts like that, and should there be another, more action will be taken.
