A 24 year old good luck charm. The first pats game I ever watched was the raider playoff game in 01, but I don’t remember all too well cuz I was 6

Hit 60 this year and wondered what happened to that 18 y.o. starting college......that 28 year old getting married and starting a business...that 36 year old raising rugrats ( who are 13 months apart).......that 42 year old who saw things nobody should ever see from that terrible day.... that 54 year old who took one child to college and watched another go into the military .....
Now for the first time I actually read those Social Security notices that they send out that tell me how much I will collect if I retire at 62, 67 or 70........

Old enough to remember when tv broadcast ended at 1 am (I think) and started at 5 am w the playing of the National Anthem
I remember channel 5 all night .........

Old enough to remember...
Willie Whistle
Romper Room
Major Mudd, Boomtown and Rex Trailer
Chase and Kent giving us the news at 6:45 am
Oriental Theater in Mattapan
Rats in the old Boston Garden...
Bleachers in fenway were $2
Drinking age was 18..
Motto of Blanchard's in West Roxbury was " old enough to walk, old enough to buy"
Bathroom malfunctions at the old Schaeffer/Sullivan Stadium
Blizzard of '78
Rosie Ruiz......
Kevin Hagan White and Louise Day Hicks....
Southwest Expressway
Saw Henry Aaron in Brewers uniform at Fenway...
Was at game 6 in 1975 but missed Fisk's homer ( don't ask)
Play It again Sam's on Comm Ave in Brighton....
Men landing on the moon....
Challenger explosion in 1986 day after Bears annihilated Pats in SB XX.....
Saw Springsteen in the 70s (not his 70s but the 1970s)

A month older than Devin McCourty

Also a month older than Jason McCourty

This was fun we have a wide variety of ages and some interesting responses expressing your ages. I can't help but think of how lucky we all are to have been born and lived through a time that gave us BB and TB!!!

I fell into the first category when I registered here in 2005. Since then I've done college, war, grad school, Fulbright, work, marriage, now a kid. Lived in half a dozen different countries, all of which I watched at least one Patriots game.

Forums are kind of dying, and maybe rightfully so, for Twitter and Reddit and Facebook groups and the like, but there's history here.

My wife has often referred to me as her oldest child :)

Mine often groups me in with our boys, as in saying she's successfully raised 5 boys but the 6th is a work in progress.

I once was the wanted man on Boomtown.
I remember being picked in line and was took to the set and first thing i see was the wall at the back of the corrall was open to a parking lot.
I was a bit stunned and was brought into the bunk room and disguised and Rex took my picture.
I was brought to a gift room and overwhelmed by a thousand prizes picked Clue. Never caught by the sheriff and had my 2 minutes of fame.

I was 20 when Ray Lewis killed two guys.

In the Army, I say "as ****", but here it looks like I'm the youngster o_O

Classic "Baby Boomer" who first was a Cleveland Browns Fan in the 50's to late 60's, when they were good, then became part of the Pats Legion after the NYJ won the Superbowl and I knew the AFL was real and here to stay..

The greatest adventure about being old is the opportunity to meet lots of different medical professionals and have lotsa tests.. good health insurance is a plus... then convincing yourself that none of this medical stuff is real and you can live for another 20 years...

Great thread

Funny story about that. I remember they gave everyone a number and if they called your number you were the wanted man. They called my number and I was all excited. OOPS, they gave out two of the same number and let the other brat, I mean kid get it.. I was pi**ed and never watched the show again..... Even as an 8 year old, I could be a stubborn one....
