Good lord, man. The fact that you're still cognitively/physically sharp enough to navigate this forum and make thoughtful, well-constructed posts here regularly is darn impressive.
Congratulations, clearly you've taken really good care of yourself (or have some amazing genes).

68 Actually followed the Patriots since their inception. Remember the Harvard fiasco distinctly. People forget the Patriots were the laughingstock of the NFL for many year. Now that it's changed they aren't happy.

Many of us old farts grew up watching the 1pm TV game which was usually the NY Giants because the Pats never sold out and were blacked out.
At 4pm we went out and played football usually smear the queer until dark.
Had dinner and then watched George Blanda do something amazing in the 4th quarter until Heidi came on.
Never was a Giants fan. I had a strange sports upbringing due to a variety of things I lived with some relatives in Somerville during the fall winter.
Spring Summer lived with others in Chester, PA so I became a New England/Philadelphia fan. Still remember the Phillies in 64 when Mauch basically only had 3 pitchers to toss and lost the pennant. It seemed at that time all my franchises were cursed.
