Sunday night - I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment.
I asked him what was wrong - he said, "Nothing."
I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said it had nothing to do with me and not to worry.
On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept driving.
I can't explain his behavior; I don't know why he didn't say, "I love you, too."
When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore.
He just sat there and watched TV.; he seemed distant and absent.
Finally I decided to go to bed. About 10 minutes later he came to bed and to my surprise he responded to my caress and we made love, but I still felt that he was distracted and his thoughts were somewhere else.
I decided that I could not take it anymore, so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep.
I started crying and cried until I too fell asleep.
I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else.
My life is a disaster.
HIS DIARY:
Today the Patriots lost, but at least I got laid.
13 years? 04 to 14 is 10.We have been blessed with such an unusual view of losing that I learned a long time ago not to let it get to me. Our idea of losing is:
- Miami's win means the 12-4 Pats have to play on WC weekend. (Cue fans of the 13-3 Saints flipping me off).
- There's a good chance the Pats won't make their 4th straight SB appearance, achieved only once in history 26 years ago. The horrors!
- There's a good chance the Pats won't be the first repeat champ in 15 years since...the Pats. My oh my.
- There's a good chance the Pats will be stuck on just 6 titles in 19 seasons since Brady became the starter. Still the best run ever, but still 13 years there was no Lombardi. :tears:
I'm sure fans of 31 other teams would love to watch their teams lose like the Pats do.
Regards,
Chris
He didn't say consecutive.13 years? 04 to 14 is 10.
I take it harder than I ever have. Maybe because I am spoiled or maybe because I know it won’t last forever.
The 2014-2018* run with 3 titles, 4 SB appearances and a near miss on a fifth appearance starting with Tom at age THIRTY-SEVEN(!!!) that kept the bender going needs some time for plenty of fans to really appreciate how blessed they have been. I just recently watched a clip of the '85 Pats with the announcer referring to "Old Man Julius Adams" who was 37. I know QB isn't DE, but 37 is indeed "football old". And of Tom's great postseason performances these last few years, it's arguable his best one is forgotten in the haze of a 41-33 score at age 40. Forty. Four zero. That's ****oo.I think a lot of the newer fans (not the pink hats) are in the same boat.
This whole 19 year run has been one big bender in Las Vegas.
Eventually you crash and life goes back to normal
The run certainly isn't over. A lot of **** can happen in a couple of years in the NFL.The 2014-2018* run with 3 titles, 4 SB appearances and a near miss on a fifth appearance starting with Tom at age THIRTY-SEVEN(!!!) that kept the bender going needs some time for plenty of fans to really appreciate how blessed they have been. * And while I don't think the Pats will win it all this year, the run technically isn't over.
2006-2013 was rough.
"Old Man Julius Adams"

He'll pick up that you feel bad about it and it'll be coolhe did not say anything but I felt awful for being so angry
Hold that thought...Maybe I wanted too much for Brady to ride into the sunset with one more ring...
