Football isn't like baseball. You have your 53 man roster and 8 man practice squad. Jackson is on the roster now. So, unless he gets injured between now and the play-offs, he'd be on the team for the play-offs.

The 45 man roster you are referring to is the game day roster. But that is different than the 53 man roster.
