Chris Price of WEEI.com is reporting that Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker participated in Monday's organized team activities for the second straight week.
According to Price Welker went through all of the introductory drills at the start of the session, however, thirty minutes into the practice he left and completed his workout privately in the Dana-Farber Field House. Price reports that while Welker was on the field, he looked sharp, making a series of nice cuts and not dropping any passes thrown his way.
Welker told reporters after practice that he's comfortable with his progress and feeling good up to this point.
"You know, I feel good," Welker told the media after practice. "You know, just trying to work hard and day to day, just get a little better, and that's been my plan from the get-go, and just sticking to that plan."
Price also has the complete Q & A from the interview with Welker here.
