this one will never go away....like Buckner for the sox.....we have eli's "drive" and Hobbs torching that will never leave my mind..........such a shame......and it will be replayed over and over every year...whenever there is a team that is still undefeated in a season after like week 10.......sad....

Guess what. The Pats are still the team to beat next year. They will still get more attention and high expectations. This will forever be a "what could have happened" stinging sensation, but it has a silver lining: no other fan base will ever know what this feels like because they won't ever get there. We're all very depressed right now, but it's an elite depression.

You are wrong....Giants are the team to beat....at this point anyways as they are the SB Champs..Followed by the Colts, the Jags, the Chargers, the Cowboys....etc....Pats are going to be going through a bit of a rebuilding phase on defense.....still should be competitive....but may be a struggle to get back to the bowl next year....alot depends on what we can pick up in Vet depth in FA market...and in the draft.....

Could you imagine the media and pressure if we were to start, say, 10-0 next season? "Here we go again..."

I would love another SB championship, but the only way I will ever be relieved of this season is if we are able to go 19-0 next year.
