How long before torrents start popping up?

Wasn't able to watch the game live tonight. How long does it usually take before video is available for download via bittorrent?

Bittorrent is currently the most popular form of p2p filesharing. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent for an overview plus as many details as you care to read.

In the case of this file, the TYT forum (linked in a previous post) lists Pats-TB available as a 1.36GB XVID file, one CD-sized .avi file per half so you can archive to CDs.

Can't say personally how fast or safe NFL game torrents are these days, I haven't used any since I bought a DVD recorder years ago.

I joined the Pats/Bucs TYT torrent at around 6:30 PM. At the time there was about 1 seeder and 100 leechers (according to the tracker), now its 1 seeder and 126 leechers, so there's a fair bit of people trying to get this preseason game. I'm at a little over 1 GB on a 1.37 GB file after 10 hours, so its been pretty fast so far.

We'll see how fast this last bit goes however.

It's worth mentioning two things about torrents, just so that everyone knows the score.
1) Watch out for viruses
2) Be aware that content may not always be legally downloaded in your particular part of the world.
