Actually, yes. Bone bruise takes longer to recover from.

Bone bruise is a misnomer on par with high ankle sprain. It's more serious than it sounds. People giving him **** for 'just having a bruise' don't understand the distinction, I'm pretty sure.

I had a bone bruise once. When I got it it hurt so much at first I wanted my shin amputated.

That would definitely be ideal, but on the bright side Houston probably doesn't have the ground game to really exploit the defense if he's not in there.

Pictures, even those which move, don't always tell the whole story, but he sure doesn't look like a guy whose rehab is going poorly.

Yeah, a half-hearted two step vs cutting on a dime and running crisp routes are different things entirely. But man, it's still encouraging. We need this guy back out there. Things are looking up now.
