Mainly, I've worked and opened threads on this board that I didn't think would drive me insane.
Otherwise, for the first week, the New York media were more or less tolerable, so I was able to read the Times and NY Daily News every day and occasionally the Post (actually bought their paper yesterday with the front page "Not a Prayer" along with a pic of Brady so I can tape it to my Apartment door to rile my Giants fan neighbors after the Pats win on Sunday). I also watched most of the local sports programming.
But this week, it's been impossible even to open the tabloids while the Times occasionally has a decent article on the Pats (they are the "grown up" Newspaper in town). I stopped watching local news outlets once they sent their "teams" to Indianapolis for blanket coverage.
I never watch HSPN anyway, so that's not an issue.
I won't turn the TV on to Sports programming until 15 minutes before Kickoff on Sunday. Try it. You'll feel a lot better!
