Julian Edelman doesn't tend to get the credit and respect he deserves around the league, but one former player took notice in a recent ESPN segment, putting him ahead of some notable names which created some controversy.

The Dolphins seem to be very interested, so sliding to 32 seems hugely improbable, unless he has an awful combine.

He seems to be burning the bridges to baseball.

They said Wilson was too small a while back. But not so much now.

Murray has to be in the right system with the eight supporting cast.

I think the best explanation I've heard for the problem with Murray is that most shorter QBs are "full-sized QBs smushed down to a shorter height," while Murray is proportionally smaller. Russell Wilson and Drew Brees are in the 210 range, while Murray is listed as 5'10", 195, and probably is smaller than that.

I am so curious to see how this one works out, I just don't want us to take the risk.

The Key for him to be successful is a strong interior line. Look at Drew Brees he's always had a solid interior line, if he has that then the depth of the pocket isn't as much as a worry as he will be able to see over it and just play as normal.

He could be the best prospect in this class, he has an incredible arm, throws people open. Whoever drafts him, needs to make sure they have one of the better lines in the league.

Will be exciting to watch him whatever happens

I think the scouts tend to question the arm strength of smaller qb’s. Murray on the other hand has decent arm strength.

I can get passed the "short thing". But I would REALLY worry about his stature and his ability to stay on the field. RGIII is a good example of a "slightly built" QB. '

Remember DEPENDABILITY is the the most important ability of them all. You can't help your team when you are in the tub. So even if he has all the talent in the world (and it appears he does), can a team afford to risk a high draft pick on that hope.

I can see a scenario where he falls to us. At that point a lot would depend on who else is available. If its someone they REALLY like, then they'll pass. If not I can see them taking a shot at him. Give him his own series of plays, sit him a few years had build him up.

If he falls to us at 32, then we have the exact same scenario philly had last year at 32 with Jackson on the board.

And we need to follow philly’s lead and trade that pick! Only we should get more than philly got because Murray is a more accomplished passer.

His dad was my all time fav player. Shame to this but just another reason why football > baseball in many cases besides health of course.

The more I learn about Kyler Murray, the more I realize that many of the negative expectations for what you should see from a very small, very fast QB really do not apply.

He is NOT a scramble-first guy, like an RGIII or a Luke Jackson. 89% of his throws came from WITHIN the pocket. That would be a benefit with respect to durability.

He has a very low percentage of throws batted down, 5 for the season, way better than most QBs who was much taller.

He seems to have Flutie-like deep ball arm strength that is characteristic of a much bigger guy.

I am not sold on him as a high-level NFL QB just yet, but I am realizing that knee-jerk dismissals of how he must play, just because he is a super-fast 5'10" QB, seem to be way off.

For every Doug Flutie, Drew Brees there are 100s+ Players that don’t get drafted. It’s high risk, I get that he’s athletic as all can be but it doesn’t change the fact he’s short.

Don’t like the fact that he’s so athletic that if football doesn’t go the way he hopes he can opt out for baseball.
