How far must Harris fall before we trade up?

A long long way. If Belichick thought there was any talent in the 2nd or 3rd round of this year draft he would have used #28 to move into this area.

He keeps falling. Damn I want him but it wont happen. Damnit.

Still have 8 picks left in this draft. It's not like the draft pool after the 2nd round consists of posters on this board. I think the long wait is causing an over-anxiousness amongst Pats fans.

I think the Jets are about to take him

I don't think we really wanted him, I think we would have actually tried. It's just funny how connected the Pats/Jets are now personel wise.

This is perhaps like the DeWayne Robertson smokescreen???

Jets/Pats again?

Would it surprise you if we start to do something to change that?

What are you expecting to use to trade up? All we have is late 3rd and 4th

picks and 6th round picks.

"Uh, I'll take that one. 47th."

Guys,

You need to take it easy on yourselves. I liked Harris as well, but I like the idea of having another 1st rounder (probably low) in a better draft next year.

Possibly, this give them the ability to work that 4th pick and others to pluck some players out if they move into the 3rd round. Looking at the board right now (PHI just made their selection in the second) there are still many players available at positions the Pats have needs at. Maybe they are not rated No 1 or 2 at the position, or the guy you like, but they may fit the Pats system better and be of better value.

Just a thought, but if they stepped up in the 3rd round and started selecting multiple picks in that round to address CB, ILB, OLB and RB, would you be upset or be calling this draft a success?

Some decent names that I still see:
McCauley
Hughes
Bennett
T. Jackson
Gattis
Wendling
Siler
Q. Moses
DeOssie
Pittman
Bush
Booker
