How embarrasing it would be should a 1-15 team in 2007 win the East

last yr the fins lost about 10 games by like 3 or 7 pts or less (cant remember)

they are winnign those games this year, and hence the turnaround...

last year the fins werent as bad as their record indicated, this year they arnt as good as that record indicates...

better fish then jets, though i had rather have the bills over jets and phins if i could choose

i hope the jets show some pride though, i want US to win this division this year, and i want it badly

if the phins win though, i dont care if we make the wild card...b/c well own the fish in the PO, and show everyone we are, yet again, the rightful winners of the AFC East

I hope we can get the job done and with a little help from the Jets to win the division but how embarrasing it would be IMO for a team like Miami that was less than 1 year removed from a 1-15 season in which they were defeated badly in many games last season to win this division only a year later.

No more embarrassing than having a 5-11 team win the Super Bowl the next year, which is not at all......

If Miami won the AFC East with an 8-8 record, it would be embarrassing. If the Pats finish 11-5 and still don't win the AFC East, they have nothing to be ashamed of.

I don't get why it would be embarrassing if the Dolphins win the division with a respectable 11-5 record. The Pats only can affect the outcome of two of their games.

Perfectly said; not much to add to that other than a tip of the hat and good luck to the Dolphins should they get in while the Pats don't.

The two west divisions are embarrasing this year. The NFC South is not embarrassed by the Falcons' success. The AFC East is much improved, so I don't know why Miami's record would be considered embarrasing to the Pats.

That's meaningless. How would you feel if that 1-15 team was the Patriots should they win the division in the preceding year? All it shows you is how critical good coaching/management really is.

Not really, they arent the same team last year, and the past is the past.
