Scale of 1-10 and be objective.

I'd say about 6-7. not too confident but we should put it together and get the win

I still put 20 down on it with a guy a work with though

5. It's hard to envision this team letting themselves get swept by the Dolphins. On the other hand, the Patriots usually struggle in Miami and their players are dropping like flies each week. I don't know what to expect, to tell you the truth.

I'd say a 6, lowered in part due to the combination of concerns about the effect of injuries, and playoff chances if Miami wins.

I will go with about an 8, BB & staff have had a couple of extra days to game plan... the second time around is usually devastating for the opponent..

5.00000000000000001.

I'd say 7. The Dolphins haven't been playing well even though they have been winning. Barely beating Seattle and Oakland at home tells me that the Dolphins may have already peaked.

I'm at 5. Our defense needs to show me something.

6 & 11/16

I am confident that the offense will be able to take advantage of Miami's weak secondary this time around but I am still worried about Pennington, his accuracy, and the fact that our D hasn't been able to stop anyone when it has mattered.

8-Just given the record of the Pats after a loss, I can't see them losing 2 in a row. And I went to last thursday nights game, which was my 3rd time seeing the Pats live at Gillette and they've lost all 3 times. However, the week after, they've won big:

January 1, 2006 Miami Dolphins L 26-28
January 7, 2006 Jacksonville Jaguars W 28-3

November 12, 2006 New York Jets L 14-17
November 19, 2006 Green Bay Packers W 35-0

November 13, 2008 New York Jets L 31-34
November 23, 2008 Miami Dolphins ???????

I remember saying to my then girlfriend, now wife while watching the Packers game "why couldn't they f'n play like that last week?"

7.375 - hoping that the 3 extra days produces some great insight

6 and one-half...

6

As others mentioned above, our D and the never-ending injuries worry me. But given three extra days to plan/prepare for the Fins who might try some uncommon plays, I am hoping we come out with a W.

On the other hand, wish JM successfully uses some clever high-school strategies right at the beginning and give the Miami D some fits.

Not very confident. The Pats had no luck last time stopping

the wildcat play during the entire game and Pennington completed

85% of his passes. Coming into the game, the Dolphins have a four

game winning streak and the Patriots have lost two out of three. I

don't buy into the theory that the Dolphins have been lucky to win

their games. I do admit that the Dolphins have been extraordinarily

lucky to have had no injuries. Without Brady, all past trends like

not losing two games in a row are off. Hopefully, I am wrong.

10 a ****in 10

I am supremely confident for a few reasons. 1st we are the better team. 2nd we haven't lost twice in a row very often. 3rd when is the last time we were swept by a division foe. 4 we will not be caught off guard by gimmicks like unbalanced lines and option plays. 5 we had a few more days to prepare than they did. 6 Squish the Tuna Fish.

I will go with about an 8, BB & staff have had a couple of extra days to game plan... the second time around is usually devastating for the opponent..

im gonna say 8 as well

for the above reaons, and b/c our PO's depend on it

10, TEN, 9+1=10, In other words, WE WIN!!!

I'll go with a '5' as well

The defense is horribly banged up and is actually not that good right now

If its a shootout then we have a better chance,If it becomes a defensive struggle we will probably lose

A loss sunday and all but ends playoff aspirations anyway you slice it.

and why do we probably lose a defensive battle?

I understand our De is banged up but to be in a defensive battle our de would be playing well or else there is no battle so than why would probably lose?

I would say just the opposite we are the ones with the experience and savy that should pull out a tough one (last week was more of an offensive battle than defensive). If our De gets in said defensive battle and holds down the Wild Cat, Unbalanced line, and pennington's short risk free passing game than I think we will win.
