How BAD are Kellen Winslow's knees???

for what its worth, the main problem with teams before (bucs, seahawks), was that they didnt want to pay his (huge) salary, while still having questions about his knees (and character)

given the fact that the contract is non-guaranteed, and he probably wont be in NE more than a month, its not as big of a matter.

Noteworthy lack of YAC is his problem. He can get open somehow but can't make guys miss. Think "Shawn Jefferson". He'll catch balls if he learns the offense. He could help move the chains.

I'd forgotten about Shawn's centimeters after the catch days.

...The knees are bad. He admits playing in pain. I think there have been issues with managing his situation in practice. That won't work here if that's what it comes to...

Since the Patriots have worked with things like this in the past (see Moss, Randy), why do you think it couldn't work now?
