Houston now making excuses

Locally, Houston is considered the Cleveland of the South. Frequent spraying for mosquitoes, muggy hot summers, crime, no real zoning of residential from commercial, city is slowly sinking, traffic. I think it's a bit exaggerated, but Houston gets dissed a lot.
I would say you understated things in Houston

It's really stupid to complain about an 80 minute ride due traffic when a traffic-free ride is 40 minutes. So an extra 40 minutes makes you "zonked"?

Well shoot, we sure would've handled those Patriots no problem, but we had to sit in a bus for an extra 40 minutes, so we lost all talent and ability to game plan.

F**k outta here with being "zonked" for being in traffic for an hour.

How many coaches do they have that worked/played for NE? They should known to leave an hour earlier than they did going to Foxboro from Waltham on a weekend night Pats game.

Well, traffic is tiring and annoying... for the driver. Did they have a bus or was it 53 separate rental cars?

If any team should have been prepared for it, it should have been the team loaded with ex Pats. BOB, RAC, Vrabel, and Izzo couldn't figure this out?

You mean that Bill Belichick would send his minions onto the roads, maliciously blocking their path to the stadium? Yes they should have known. There is no length he won't go to. I bet a little digging would turn up recordings of BB personally instructing people to come out and see the game.

Sleepy sleepy bears....

...but these two guys seemed awake enough... Oh wait, that's just 1 guy...

They ran out of gas, got a flat tire, didn't have cab fare, an old friend came in from outta town, there was and earthquake, a flood, locusts, it wasn't thier fault they lost, they swear to God.

Blaming a long bus ride as the reason you lost is as pathetic and absured as the excuses i listed above.

You need to read my posts more carefully. If you take more than two seconds and think a bit, you know my last post meant the 5-6 things cited against Houston are exaggerated as a whole. The traffic is bad - it's the 4th largest US city. But if you are looking for hellholes, a number of other major cities would be less pleasant than Houston.

Thank you for making my point about Houston traffic being the 4th worst and not being exaggerated in the least.

I never stated that it was the worst in the country for obvious reason.

How many years were all their coaches employed here .... they know the layout and should have prepared better.

You got the like for the Blue Brothers reference.

It's too bad that the NFL wasn't interested in fixing the product on the field for them this past week like they apparently always do for New England's opponents. Maybe they could have at least punched it into the end zone had that been the case.
They're running out of false accusations, that the public will totally buy into.

Wow, that's kind of, umm, pathetic.
