Thanks for the classy post. I think the Packers would have won the game if Jones hadn't fumbled - what a gigantic momentum changer - but who knows. At the very least we probably would have seen some last second heroics from one of the #12s. It was a fun game to watch with Brady and Rodgers on the field at the same time. Good luck the rest of the way. As a football fan, I'd like to see the Packers/Rodgers in the playoffs.

A lot to blame. Thompson never surrounded Rodgers with any great WRs. He never goes out to sign Free Agents ever.

It really feels like Fat Mike has been coasting since he won the Super Bowl. Any time Rodgers doesn't audible/scramble the playcalling is really pedestrian and predictable. They were having great success running in a close game but wouldn't stick to it. I can see why Packers fans would be sick of him.

I'd say Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson were genuinely good players. But otherwise Rodgers has done a lot of spreading the ball around a large number of pretty good guys . Of course the Patriots had long stretches of doing the same thing with Brady.

Thompson went through the draft to get good players. He never signed any Big name Free Agents.

He doesn't miss open guys too often. He makes great throws in double coverage at times. He does hold on to the ball a long time though which results in lots of sacks. He isn't good at all in the clutch against winning teams especially on the road. He has a major losing record in that category.
