What’s even worse for those of us with Sunday Ticket but without the NFLN is that we still can’t get the game because, technically, it’s “nationally televised.”

I am closer to the stadium than Boston is (23 miles) and don’t have NFL network... can I not watch it from Providence?

That’s what I’m going to do. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Although I could probably use a bar day tomorrow.

If you've got a newer phone and TV you might be able to cast your phone screen to your TV. This also prevents you from GDT posting as an added benefit.

Do you know if you can watch it on Fire Stick? I’d rather put on the flat screen than the iPad or laptop.

HDMI cable from laptop to flat screen will solve that, i use my 55" TV as a monitor all the time

Edit: Unless its a plasma TV, if so then you might be boned. It works with LCD, LED, OLED, etc etc tho

Some laptops don't have an HDMI port, but they sell USB-C to HDMI adapters for like $20

The game will still be broadcast locally. Not sure about "secondary" markets that typically carry the Pats games (WPRI in Providence; Springfield; Hartford; three CBS stations in Maine; Burlington VT).

Does the below statement mean only WBZ in Boston? Or is it referring to WBZ as the flagship station for the rest of the stations above?

Ok out of towers like me. If you have Youtubetv I looked it up and WBZ out of Boston is broadcasting them game. Soooo... spoof your GPS location to downtown Boston and you should be good to go. Been doing it all season.

We " cut the chord" and one of the apps we use is FUBU, they have a sports and additional package which includes the NFL network..

Went to sign up and they have a 7 day free trial for the sports package.. all is well.

Love my Boston...but love living in the South more

I've been trying to get my wife to leave Taxachusetts and head south for at least 20 of our 42 years together. I think she might be coming around.

How's Tennessee? Nashville was one of the areas we were going to look at in 2010, along with locations in NC, SC and GA, but illness derailed that plan.
