Will BB keep 5 RBs? Dillon, Maroney, Faulk and Mills are in. Pass will be on PUP. I expect Cobbs to be cut, then go on the PS. The key for Evans is special teams. If he can prove to be a contributor, then he's on the 53. I was at practice on Thursday, and when they practiced on-side kicks, Evans was with the ST starters on the "hands" team. How much can you read into that? Time will tell.
Box makes a good point - the Jets need RBs, and Mangini will grab Evans if he is cut. He knows what he can do. I also look for Romeo to grab a player from our O-Line cuts. We've got "deep depth" on the O-Line.
