Has the Pats dominance helped reduce injuries?

as i read this thread and some of the great comments that are being made, it strikes me that there must be a statistical way to answer this question.

if someone could analyze ten NFL Seasons and do a comparison of each team's Regular Season WL percentage vs. some indicator of injuries that occur after the season begins (e.g., number of players placed on IR--excluding players who were pupped before the season began--and/or number of players not playing in more than, say, four games due to injury) i think we'd get a pretty reliable answer. over a ten year period, that would provide 320 data points, which would allow for a meaningful conclusion. Wish I had the data to do it.
