Those of us who dismissed the Miami blowout as some kind of ugly aberration were given a cold dose of ugly reality after the Chargers blowout. Our QB looked incompetent, our defense looked lost. Our OL couldn' block to save their lives, and Maroney as usual is hurt. Now Denver is coming to town with the #2 passing attack in the league against a rather clueless looking secondary.

Could this get any worse? BB news flash, you need to make some huge adjustments and make em fast! Can we survive this game without getting embarassed? Magic 8-ball says unlikely. If we manage to pull out a win, I'm a real happy camper, it will be nearly as miraculous as that comeback Sox win from down 0-7. But tell me seriously, how are we going to win this one??

I find threads like this a BIT embarrassing...a lot of hyperbole..sound and fury....maybe the PS is the place..

OP asked a legitimate question..............the answer is a resounding NO, however, if that had been the case then YES BB could and would pick up the pieces.

If NE had won last week I would be more afraid of a loss Monday night than I am now.

The incredible success of NE over the past several years seems to have not only spoiled people but also made them for get how hard it to win in the NFL. Further, the ebb and flow of a season is something we haven;t had to deal with because of how often we have won.

Now, the old axiom of the team needing it the most, teams playing at home, teams coming off of embarrassing losses need to be recalled.

NE was embarrassed, more so on "D" than offense, NE is at home and they really need it the most.

NE wins this one, easier than most think...IMHO

I sure hope so. BB is going to need to draw up some exotic schemes to shut down the Broncos passing attack. Speed Package II? So far our secondary has shown itself very vulnerable to the long play. Since we can't get new personnel back there, it's going to come down to scheme and execution. One thing is for sure, Cutler needs to get his uniform dirty a few times on Monday or things are gonna get ugly fast.

Other question, are offensive coordinators targeting O'Neal to throw at? Are they exploiting a particular weakness in the defense again and again? Those of you who review the film religiously might be able to pick up on that if it's happening.

What a bunch of spoiled twits we've become. What kind of fan asks of its team, "Can it get any worse?" when they 3-2?

Yeah, it can get worse. We could be 2-3, 1-4, 0-5.

Get it through your noodle that undefeated was a once in a lifetime happening.

Enjoy the team. Before you know it, it will be off-season.

I don't think any mod's going to remove threads with criticism, but Practice Squad threads offer little constructive football discussion IMO - and if you're seeing a lot of your threads being moved there, you might want to reconsider the caliber of threads you're starting.
