Has Mayo improved?

He had his best game so far today.

1st year, Mayo did great.
2nd year, he played hurt.
3rd year, ???.

Not sure if he is the stud most say he is...

Anyone notice a trend in threads created about certain players and performance improvement in the game the next week?

i think we should just trash every 1 on the team every week in an effort to keep this trend

Lewis is the best LB of his generation and Patrick Willis will most likely be the same for his. Not to mention Willis runs a 4.3 40, that man is very special. If that is the standard, then every ILB in the league is dissapointing.

Thus the problem with the Boston media and many fans from this very board: they lack perspective.

How would Mayo do in Rex's defense? I see Harris flourishing in that defense and although he was a pretty good player at Michigan, Mayo was a better player in Tennessee. If they flip flopped teams, would Mayo be making more impact plays?

Probably. He would have far less assignments.
