I keep hearing how the Chargers need to shut there yaps, where did this all start? was it the Classless smack talking Chargers, or was it as simple as "if i read it in a local article or heard it on tv, it must be the truth".
I am a Charger fan but i am also a huge fan of the game itself and have been for over 30 years and i am here to tell you that the true Classless individuals in the NFL today is the media.
Lets take last years playoff game for example or rather a week prior to it during the Pats/Jets wildcard matchup 01/07/07. During halftime Shawn Merriman was asked his opinion on who he felt would win the game, Shawn said that both teams were tough but he felt the Jets would make a comeback and win the game. Ie was all over the media and it was being portrayed as being disrespectful toward the Patriots as a team and the Boston Media spun it in a very wrong fashion hoping it would give your team some motivation. How many here bought that media BS?
There were other claims stating that Shawn made other comments about smacking Brady as well as other Chargers making statements that they were a superior team. These are flat out lies, the only ones that made these claims were some pundits on ESPN and NFL Network, yet i'm reading articles in the Boston Herald making these Claims. How many here bought into that media BS?
Your Team responded by dancing on our logo after the game was over.
When will those Chargers learn to keep there yaps shut? We lose and Nick Hardwork calls out Seymour, who basically doesn't deny the allegations and says he plays violent. and that Nick was "Classless" to state this to the media. How many bought into this media BS?
But Nick did say this he's guilty, but what you havn't heard is that Nick said this to a couple of teammates in the Visitors lockerroom because he was pissed, and this conversation was Overheard by a Boston Reporter that was not authorized to be in the area at that time. Nick was not aware of the reporters presence.
The head Butt is a media lie, Nick never said that. You can believe what you wan't but everything you hear in the media is stretched, skewed or falsified and all for the love of $$$.
