NCAA really wants this to go away. It’s just laughable to me that it’s not covered 24/7 like it was for the Pats over a filming location. This is 1000 times worse and gets coverage but nothing like spygate.

What's also strange is that the NCAA has a Lack of Institutional Control penalty that takes away the ignorance defense from head coaches. If an assistant coach was breaking NCAA rules and the head coach had no idea it was happening, the NCAA has said "That doesn't matter. You're in charge of the entire program. If something illegal was going on, you should have known about it. Being unaware of the actions of subordinates is no defense." For the NCAA to say it hasn't found a connection between Harbaugh and Stalions shouldn't matter. Of course, I'm basing my argument on the NCAA enforcing it's rules consistently, which is probably asking too much.

Correlation does not imply causation. The above chart also corresponds to Michigan having an extreme amount of success with the (relatively) new NCAA transfer portal, not to mention having the best QB Michigan has had in years. And I say that as someone who hates both Michigan and the Harbaugh family.

Furthermore, Stalions has been at Michigan longer than the chart implies.... he just wasn't a paid full time member of the staff.
