Steve was fearless back there, one of my very favorite players of all time. If not for Mr. Ben Drieth, Steve and the Patriots could have very well been Super Bowl champs. Happy birthday, Mr. Grogan!

Mine also... While I do prefer the idea of a dominant blue (historical accuracy), the 1990s outfits were too - in the words of General Craig from the sitcom Major Dad - "garish and ostentatious"... And of course anything with Elvis on it is an automatic disqualification...

Loved Grogan. Loved those teams from 1976-1985. That was the early part of my fandom (became a fan in 1975). Grogan, Morgan, Cunningham, Francis, Hannah, Nelson, Fox, Haynes, etc. Loved so many of those guys. Successes and failures, but those core players grew together and got to SB XX. I have a red Grogan jersey I bought on EBay a few months ago.
