Haley Fired, Where Was ESPN?

No, Pointing out the stupidity of your OP is something I think is worth the time.
I’m going to go with 23/23 positive ratings and every response accept yours agreeing with it to say claiming stupidity in the OP makes only you look stupid.

That makes no sense, because of course we can compare, so let's start from the beginning:

  • Conflicts happen (See Brady and his OCs)
  • Teams can achieve despite conflict (See Steelers offense for the better part of the last 6 years, Patriots offense for Brady's career)
  • It's been well known, since the very beginning, that Haley and Roethlisberger had a prickly relationship, and has been reported on since that first year
  • The Steelers tried putting Haley up in the booth, with Randy Fichtner on the sidelines, but that didn't work
  • The Steelers then had both Haley and Fichtner on the sidelines, but that didn't work
  • The Haley/Roethlisberger relationship got to be too toxic to continue, so Haley's not getting re-upped
All of that was covered by the media, and none of it is anything particularly extraordinary. Blow ups happen, but it got to be more than was healthy for Pittsburgh (and they needed a scapecoat/distraction).

I don't think anyone here thought that Brady had any longstanding difficulties with either Obrien or Mcdaniel. Blow ups in the heat of battle are not the same as a long simmering feud. Just because my wife and I yell at each other every so often does not mean that our relationship is not strong with mutual respect each way. Brady and his coaches gush over the other all the time.

I feel like this was pretty well reported on, but it seems like its been common knowledge that Haley is an ******* for awhile

Even though qb and coach may hate each other, they have always had a top offense. It’s the defense they need to look at.

fish are to luggage as mollusks are to speeding trains...

WRONG. despite andy Johnson's argumentative style. He makes a very good point. And, no he isn't a clown, and I actually like what he has said for the first time. He's very logical. Sometimes, not... But today he is. So I back him as I would anyone. Why so harsh on him today?

I'm not the one who tried to compare apples to helicopters in order to whine about ESPN over a non-issue, and clowned himself in the process. That's what you did in the OP.

You are wrong. You owe him an apology. Start being smart. Nobody cares for ignorance. Period.

It seems the final crack was Ben throwing Haley under the bus for that fake spike/pick against NE. They knew their season was over right there.

Why are we worried about the Steelers?

He threw all the coaches under the bus in the last game too when he said they wouldn’t let him do qb sneaks. It doesn’t matter how many times people say he’s tough he seems to always makes excuses and blames others for his problems. He sounds like someone who would rape people and blame the victim, oops, I think he did that too.
