Gutierrez cut, Andrew Walter signed

At least Walter had a good college career with a big name team.

He was projected as a first round choice before he injured his

shoulder in his senior year. Before you criticize Walter too much,

remember Moss was projected as all washed up.

Yeah... THIS.

He has a big arm.

I rather have Michael Vick.

If you've followed teh Vick saga at all, you would know that in his bankruptcy hearings, he laid out a plan that included his expectation to play for several more seasons with a multi million dollar deal (estimates he can get near $10M per season).

While we can all agree he probably won't be able to find anyone to pay him that kind of money, it is reasonable to assume that we aren't in the market for him given his expectations. All of that doesn't even take into account whether or not our coaches are even interested in him, which I personally doubt.

And to the person who suggested Brian Griese.... He and his circus dog are not wanted here. Too much booze and not enough talent.

Ol' Plunkett2Vataha asks,
Does this remind anyone else of one James Plunkett ...
except going the other direction, NEP to OAK ?

I have to admit, I've thought the same thing. Maybe all Waltah needs is to take a year off, study - and, I hope, learn - from the greatest, and be ready in 2010 to fulfill whatever potential he has.
