So I was reading that Mac Jones is practicing with the #50 jersey!

Its illegal for quarterbacks to wear that number so what should he wear as a New England Patriot?

Initially I was thinking 10 to match his college number... but 15 as a reminder of his draft position also makes sense? What number would you pick for Mac attack?

ps I ran out of poll options so I had to double up. Legal choices are 1-19 and we know he can’t get 12 for reasons! . So just post here to clarify your vote for jersey number.

I don't think he'll be #1 because that's Cam's number, but I voted for #10 to match his college number.

I would be shocked if it’s not 10

#12.
There is a trend here, Dugger got #23.

Joking, I think.

Jalen Mills is now wearing #2.

I'm guessing 10.

It's gonna be 10. Barely any 1-19 numbers are open, but the one Jones wore in college is. Don't think it's a coincidence.

Just came back from a Staples run and stared at the Easy buttons for sale thinking who would buy this now? Didn't need it for this one.

There is a history of success of Patriots who wore #10 in college and switched to #12 in NE.
I wonder... If Lee Johnson wasn't on the 2000 squad, would we all be hearing/talking about TB10?

Yeah although it isn't 'officially' retired, I think 12 is off limits right now for pending HOF reasons.

But yeah I didn't want to influence the vote or anything but I see that the vote is already overwhelming, so I can now safely say I think probably #10 makes a lot of sense for Mac Jones to keep his college number.

I did not know it was available so thanks for those who picked up on that. We'll see! Hopefully he is rocking that sweet #10 soon. If it's another number I'll be surprised and I'll want to know the story behind a jersey number switch!

Bonus material for those who kept reading this far. Did you know that Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers wear #12 because of a Punter and a Kicker??

story: Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers Wear No. 12 For the Exact Same Reason

10
Ten.
1 less than 11.
2 more than 8.
