Can see it if we are using him in "Red Zone" offense.. but have difficulty visioning him on long pass plays in the middle of the field.

Either way if he does play, probably will be limited..

Great news. We need him right now, and no one can deny that. Our offense desperately needs him. Hopefully we win at least 3 of our final 4 games, I think that is very feasible if Gronk does not get hurt again.

Even if his primary role is to help out on Watt, the Texans will have to dedicate a pass defender to Gronkowski on every play that he's on the field. This opens up routes for the other guys.

If true. I won't believe it til I see it, or Reiss says it.

It doesn't hurt to hear good news and be happy about it. Even if he does not end up playing he flew over with the team and is going to play soon anyways. I'm happy.

I guess I have trouble understanding the trepidation people on the outside have about him playing when it'll be necessary for him to be cleared by medical professionals who do this stuff for a living. Maybe it's the residue of having an apparent quack (Dr. Gill) as a prior element in the process. But, that factor aside, recent history suggests to me that the team and it's advisors are typically conservative and cautious about returning injured players to active duty. Could Gronk or someone else be re-injured? Sure. But, I tend to think that when a player, particularly one as valuable as Gronk, returns to play it's far more likely than not that he's medically and physically ready.

1st and goal from the 2....that's all I hope. Better to have a bruised Gronk as a target . The Blount dance move up the middle for -3 is frustrating. Plan B......4 Brady QB sneaks.....0.5 yds at a time. Anything but stop'n start Blount.

We might need him:

Asante Cleveland and Michael Williams as our only two TEs would not be optimal.

I don't know about this, I feel like if he's really a game time decision he probably shouldn't play. But, I'm no doctor or anything.

I hope they don't rush him back. If he plays red zone and some key 3rd downs that would be enough.

As long as Thomas Gill isn't being consulted he should be ok

I feel if he was going to be a game time decision, BB wouldnt have risked flying him. Dont know how 24 hrs would improve his chances .But who knows.
