That sounds encouraging.
Good...now let's not push that ankle....keep him in bubble wrap until the Chiefs game...that's 13 days away.
We should be able to take them even without Gronk: expect a lot of Adm V FG's Thursday night from the Colts. All we have to do is score at least Three TD's and game over. Things get much tougher against KC and @ da surprising Bears.
Colts played almost an entire OT yesterday, rather unfortunate...
Gronk has three 1.1 million dollar incentives to hit; 80% of playing time, 70 receptions, 1,085 yards, and/or nine touchdowns. REC 17 YDS 233 TDS 1 so far. On pace to hit none of them.
Should also be noted that they likely won’t have TY Hilton.
Would be nice to have two back to back laughers waiting for KC.
I would keep him out until KC, we have Edelman back and Gordon is starting to settle in and we need Gronk for the long haul no need to push that ankle, I know we had to this past Sunday with no choice but look what happened. Keep him out until KC.
I suspect more offseason drama from Gronk, Inc.
But that's for the offseason and nothing to worry about for now.
Like a baseball pitcher on a pitch count
This is funny. I think whoever in the Patriots organization gave Schefter that info made sure that he also put Gronk's status as "questionable" in exchange for the info. Something tells me Schefter knows a little more about his likelihood to play Thursday.
Pats would revise the contract again to let him get all his money. I think they did that before. Gronk is going to be Gronk. This TD was during his first preseason game in his rookie yr. I knew he was special. Good thing can only last so long.
