Just spitballing here but could it be that fact that he has been a bad NFL CB, when he hasn’t been spending time in the training room? I’m curious, which current Pats CB do you want to cut in order sign him?

I get why he's mentioning greedy.. off the name.. he's been a solid corner, just can't stay on the field. Availability is the best ability for an NFL player. There still needs to be a vet at outside CB to be added here. I don't know necessarily who's out there, but it's a long season.. my guy gonzo is a rookie, and I'm sure at some point will hit the rookie wall during the season. Jon Jones is on the other side of 30, Jack's situation is uncertain.. this is why those draft bust at CB are so glaring. It affects the depth! Marcus isn't an outside CB, are we banking on Sean Wade? We play so many different formations as we are game plan offense and defense that extra DBs are a necessity. If a guy like Wade is kept on the roster then he'll have to show something, and Man up and be a contributing factor.

Indeed there does... But Bill would rather spend his time throwing away assets in exchange for garbage...
