Greed has brought us down a peg.

Ok so it was unlucky that we lost 3 ST guys in preseason and that Chad Jackson has been hurt.
But the main thing that has brought us down a peg has been GREED.
Everyone wants MO MONEY.
Vinatiri, McGinest, Givens and Branch.
I think the front office did as good as they could.
They brought us Gabriel and Seau along with a nice draft.
Frankly we couldn't pay everyone like they were ProBowlers especially if they were not performing that way.
All we can hope for is Chad Jackson to heal and be the real deal.
It is just 1 game and the season is long.
I expect us to get much better with the return of a real passing game.
No matter what we have the best position lined up for next year.

The only problem with this theory is that every other team in the league has to deal with the same greed. The difference is that we're notorious for not putting up with it and just shipping guys out when they get too pricey. I'm not one of the guys who hold that that's coming back to haunt us now, I'm just thinking it might not be the best idea.
