Who wore the number best as a Patriot?

My list. I'm sure I'm forgetting players at some at these numbers. I couldn't think of anyone for some numbers. Hope I got all these players numbers right.

there are a few sites out there that say Adams wore 69 when he came back after retirement in 1987... and that he was initially issued 69 when he joined the team becase the equipment manager was reluctant to give him Nick Buoniconti's # 85...

i have never seen him in a pic sporting 69, and god knows i have looked for one...

Given the choice of either one in the prime years, I'd take Edelman over Bledsoe every time. No Edelman, we'd probably have a few less Super Bowl wins. More Bledsoe and we'd have no Super Bowls i.e. no Brady.

And I think I'd put Nick Buoniconti over Hunter Henry and Julius Adams.

Curtis Martin over White.

Thought about him but he feels more to me like a Jet Should have never happened.

Then again who knows - maybe the Patriots w/ Martin are still a good team in the late 90's instead of a declining team, Pete doesn't get fired and maybe no Bill or Brady?

Picking between Drew and JE11 for #11 is really tough for me. JE11 added titles for sure, Drew w/Parcells added legitimacy to the franchise in the 90's.

If Edelman had a different number I wonder if they would have considered retiring 11 for Drew.

Martin in his short stint in NE was already regarded among the league's top backs and 2nd best young back to Terrell Davis. White was very one dimensional player dependent on the QB willing to throw him the ball and an OC specifically designing plays for him.

Long story short; had Martin stayed in NE, it would've been a massive butterfly effect. The Jets aren't winning the division and going to the AFCCG and Carroll doesn't get fired. Unless BB takes a DC job elsewhere, he and Brady would've been Jets.
