Graphic: Tom Brady's Passing Stats After Losing All His Weapons

I don't believe this at all (no disrespect). The Eagles were on the verge of getting blown out the water, and then we allowed them to get back in the game and eventually take the big lead. I don't think the NE mistakes, self-inflicted stuff, is because the Eagles were playing up to any kind of perceived potential by us. They are a bad team with a dysfunctional locker room (by ALL accounts) that had no business winning that game. They really shouldn't have even scored more than the two first half TD's they got. Yeah, I'm still a bit annoyed.

They shouldn't have. No doubt about that. But even when we were up 14-0 their Front 7 was still completely owning our OL on just about every passing play.

That's true, but is it fair considering the O-Line has been pretty much below average to terrible for most, if not all, of the season? Again, Philly's perceived superior play could just as easily be explained away as bad O-Line play as anything Philly was doing. The O-Line played well in the run game mostly and Blount ran well. NE seemed to go away from it before they had to do so.

I don't know why the line seemed so good at the beginning of the year and has dropped off so dramatically. It could be that Nate Solder was the key and there was a cascade effect after he went out.
This seems the most natural explanation.

I don't know if it's just me, but I don't remember Brady throwing so many deep balls as he has in the last 3 games. His completion % sucks in the deep passes, maybe that has something to do with his stats going down. Who gives a **** about stats, we need Ws.
The Pats don't have the players to march downfields a little bit at a time, as they are used to doing. When outside receiver LaFell is all you have, you have to try to score on big plays. People don't understand what the loss of Dobson really means. La Fell has to play 70 plays a game with no time to rest.

We just have to await their return.

Lafell has been very dissapointing. Idk if he's 100 percent or he just sucks this year. Hope they get a receiver or two in the offseason.

I don't have a problem with it. He's actually been pretty accurate on the deep ball, the receiver simply either can't adjust at all, make it a play on it, or flat out drop it. I think it's more of an issue where the guys aren't exactly quick and shifty so they aren't getting open short/intermediate as much as we are used to. As long as Brady isn't making bad throws and turning the ball over, I'm perfectly fine with the deep ball.
Yeah but one of those INTs against Philly was exactly that.
