Pretty bleak picture... those numbers don't lie. It is hard to win in the NFL without quality QB play.

Not to mention how often he has been hit. At this point home field advantage is secondary to getting healthy and establishing some sort of rhythm on the offensive line.

on the bright side, due to all the injuries, brady could end up being the first QB to have 8 separate players with 500+ yards from scrimmage. Which is something, since Brady and Brees are the only ones who have had 7 guys do it.

All he needs is Chandler, Lafell and White end the year like pro bowlers. No problem

The number of times that Brady held the ball for 5+ seconds and still found nobody open on Sunday was pretty damning. He's Tom ****ing Brady, so we know that he's not missing anyone. If he's not making a throw, it's because nobody's open and there's no throw to make. Hard to be a good quarterback when nobody gets open no matter how long they have.

No matter how good individual player A is he needs players B-Z to get their jobs done too to be successful at a high level. It's true for Brady, Montana whoever. No big shock on that point is there?

I said the Eagles were going to play the Pats though and got blasted for it. The Eagles lost two games badly and had an extra 4 days of rest. Jaws on the local radio called them out. Former players called them girls and questioned their manhood. I knew they were coming to play. I thought the Pats would show up but appeared to be sleep walking threw the entire game.

There is no way that any of us can say how this team will do in January. A lot of people had it written off at 2--2 last year after the KC game...and we all know how that ended up. Things take on a different kind of significance in week 13 than week 5, so we'll just have to see how it plays out. We're on to Houston.

Rodgers has looked human after losing just 1 receiver. Brady has lost his top 3 options, another missed the game in Denver, a depth receiver lost to injury, and pretty much the only guy standing (Lafell) can't catch the ball or run the right routes.

I really don't care about the numbers, I thought Brady was incredible the last two games. He's getting crushed out there and he just pops back up, shakes off all the drops, somehow keeps eluding pressure and making great throws on the run.

There is not a single QB in the history of the league that would have any more success right now than Brady given his situation. Not one.

If anything, the line needs to step it up. There will be times when they give Brady 5 seconds and no one is open, like was said above, and he throws it away. But the past three games, there have been way too many hits on Brady within 1-2 seconds, such that even if Edelman and Gronk were around, he'd still be feeling that pressure. There would be even more if he were less mobile in the pocket. He can't keep taking these. All it takes is one awkward fall for the worst-case scenario to happen.

I don't know why the line seemed so good at the beginning of the year and has dropped off so dramatically. It could be that Nate Solder was the key and there was a cascade effect after he went out. Hopefully it's more because they are still banged up and as they get closer to 100%, they improve. But the line is the thing that makes me the most nervous in January.

I don't know if it's just me, but I don't remember Brady throwing so many deep balls as he has in the last 3 games. His completion % sucks in the deep passes, maybe that has something to do with his stats going down. Who gives a **** about stats, we need Ws.

I don't have a problem with it. He's actually been pretty accurate on the deep ball, the receiver simply either can't adjust at all, make it a play on it, or flat out drop it. I think it's more of an issue where the guys aren't exactly quick and shifty so they aren't getting open short/intermediate as much as we are used to. As long as Brady isn't making bad throws and turning the ball over, I'm perfectly fine with the deep ball.

I don't believe this at all (no disrespect). The Eagles were on the verge of getting blown out the water, and then we allowed them to get back in the game and eventually take the big lead. I don't think the NE mistakes, self-inflicted stuff, is because the Eagles were playing up to any kind of perceived potential by us. They are a bad team with a dysfunctional locker room (by ALL accounts) that had no business winning that game. They really shouldn't have even scored more than the two first half TD's they got. Yeah, I'm still a bit annoyed.
