Is it weird to think the pass O might have been a B+. There were several protection breakdowns and Brady definitely had some off throws. There were some nice catches, but a couple of drops. It just feels like this O can do so much better. B?
Not sure I could give the run D better than a D-. There were several blown tackles and a lot of guys were having trouble coming off blocks. Houston hasn't had much of a run game this year, but they did today.
Andre Johnson was wide open far too often, and the pass rush was horrendous at times for a C+ Pass D. Houston had a ton of drops too. C- at best.
Special teams is tough to grade; a missed 55, two made 53s, some good punting and a poor kick off coverage. B+ doesn't seem too off.
Coaching was a mixed bag. Consecutive weeks of coming out flat does not reflect well on coaching. BB admitted that the 55 yard attempt was probably a bad decision. The Pats also used 2 time outs early in the second half. I'd prolly give coaching a C, and would be lower except for the adjustments in the second half.
