Thought he was a little forced at times trying to show empathy for Mahomes getting whooped but overall I thought he was really good last night, maybe his best game of the season. Definitely improved a lot from the beginning of the year in cadence and what insights he shared with the viewers. I'd say he earned himself a solid B for the season.

Overall I'd say RLKAG (probably 2) and Brady pretty much got better as his season went on. He grew into the role as the season went on but he does seem to struggle at times to manage his commentary where officiating is concerned and unfortunately officiating remains the subject all too often in NFL games. Although he was better in the NFCCG than the Super Bowl a lot of that may have had to do with the games themselves. His personal insights into participating in those types of games probably holds more interest to Pats fans than to the casual NFL watcher though so perhaps my judgment shows some inherent bias. I love me some Tom F Brady but he'll never be peak Madden but if we're being fair Madden's peak could have lasted longer too.

He did well yesterday. He isn’t in the class of Aikman or Collinsworth yet but he could get there. I like him better than Romo. He grew a lot over the year.

He was fine overall, but not many people have the iconic voice of John Madden.

It feels like some of these broadcasts I can barely hear who's talking. In fact, there were many games I didn't even realize it was Tom Brady.

I voted C as he was painful at the beginning but has gotten better. I want to hear more about the how of things which he does not give much of. He always still has an issue with stopping mid sentence that happens ways too often.

He got asked what the Chiefs needed to do on a 2nd half drive of the Eagles and his answer was get a stop. Obviously! But how?

He did very, very well last night during garbage time.

He gave an in depth perspective of a QB who has both won and lost Super Bowls, which is a perspective that only a very small handful of people on this planet have. Sorry Greg Olsen, you're not one of 'em.

I thought he was pretty painful last night. I love Brady, but he seems like a weird guy and that carries over to his commentary a little too much.

I thought he improved vastly over the year. I'd give him a D for the first half, and averaged out to a B.

Last night he was good I thought.

Got better as the season went on which is all you can ask for for a noob. Looking forward to next season

I wish he would just be himself and tell us stories from his experience especially in blowouts like last night.

I don't know. Every time he seems to let his guard down and be himself, I feel like we get this glimpse into a very different, very odd lifestyle. I loved it as a Pats fan because I loved that he was wired different to be a winner. But when he tries to talk like a normal person, it just doesn't seem to work for me. The best commentator are the guys you would want to hang out and have a beer with. I feel like Brady would be drinking some avocado beer or something.

C

his insight is top notch, his delivery is robotic

tom brady as an announcer is the living embodiment of artificial intelligence

He started shakey, slowly got into a groove, the way he made garbage time interesting and added a context nobody else could bring was probably the best thing that could have happened in that game.

I give him a solid B. Maybe B-. Followed very closely with RLKAG.

B. He was ok. Improved a lot by the end.

He was ****ing awful. Looking forward to next year's Super Bowl when he is NOT part of the broadcast

Tom is OK. I don't know if it's his overall delivery or just the sound of his voice, but I really have to focus on what he says to avoid tuning him out. In terms of commanding attention I think Tony Romo is much better.
