Once that is done, then the player can play for another team. My bet is that the Pats wait until Saturday to give Gordon the settlement which would mean he couldn't play this weekend.
So what team signs Gordon? San Fran? Packers? Detroit?
Baltimore, Buffalo, New Orleans or Kansas City, maybe?
He did not look right this year. Something was off. Watch some of this routes, if the ball was not coming to him, he barely sold it. Additionally, I also notices teams were not double teaming him as much as I thought he will command.
Not sure if it is just age slowing him down or he was dealing with something physical.
There is a MAX number of days for the injury settlement, but no minimum to my knowledge..There's no set time requirement that a player has to be on IR before being given a injury settlement?
Gordon isn't healthy. He might be healthier than he was, but he's not ready to take the field.
Sounds more like a football move to me.Maybe you have it backwards.
I sure hope Sanu is ready to get doubled a ton.
You forgot Dorsett! The team doesn't need Harry to produce. They won a SB last year with Edelman, Hogan, and Patterson as their top 3 WRs, and Gronk was a shell of himself as a receiver.
This offense, once Wynn comes back, is much better than last season's.

I was just wondering the same thing. With his injuries so far this year, he looked slow when he was out there, then he got hurt and had to miss time, and if he fell off the wagon the Pats might not want to invest any more. A bummer for all concerned if that is what's going on...Did he relapse or something?
We need to sign another ST ace to take the roster spot.
Must have. He said “interesting” with a curious emoji.I don't see that reply any more. Not sure if Josh deleted it?
I love Edelman but the dude is playing through an injury. He is gutting it out and still being his producive self but he doesn't look at his best right now. I don't necessarily think he is going to be out there destroying single coverage when he looks like he is 60-70%.If they double up Sanu, that leaves Edelman in single coverage. Brady would have a field day with that. I think we're going to see a lot of interesting situations going forward.
