Hey Roger- you frakkin idiot. If you didn't tell the Patriots to suspend them, then why do the Patriots need to ask for permission from the NFL to reinstate them??

Guess what? The letter that your boy Vincent sent to the Patriots is part of the Court Record and states the McNally and Jastremski are to be suspended and that they can not return to the team without specific authorization from the league. It also stipulates that they can not return to the jobs that they had previously.

Keep running your mouth, Roger. You only make yourself look more stupid.

Goodell claims that NE suspended J&M (a) before the NFL formally punished them, and (b) without the league asking them to be suspended pre-formal-punishment.

That doesn't contradict anything in the letter from Vincent. It also meshes with what Curran and other have said about NE suspening J&M before the league required it as a show of good faith to the league (part of Kraft's capitulations-R-us "strategy").

On national tv too. He even said it like he truly believed it and not one single person on m&m even questioned it, they just wallowed in it like a pig in its feces.

Contradicts what Schefter said. Which was the Pats suspended them at the request of the nfl

I wouldn't let Roger Goodell volunteer his time to coach a youth sport let alone be the commissioner of the NFL. He really should step down ASAP.

True that it contradicts Schefter's report.

However, my point is that trying to use Vincent's letter as some sort of proof that Goodell was lying this morning is pointless, since the letter and what Goodell said this morning do not contradict.

What it does prove is that Goodell is being disingenuous by not following up with..."We would have suspended them ourselves if they hadn't, and they can't be reinstated unless we allow it.

Except that it DOES contradict what happened. And Schefter already blew the whistle on this one during the Brady appeal..Telling a team to suspend someone or they would do it IS telling them to suspend them..

Caught in a lie again. Don't worry, they will correct it with the Vincent document in about 8 or 9 months.
