I am pretty sure most of you never saw Goodell's interview last night pre-game. Sky Sports is a UK TV Channel and they had a reported on the ground and he got hold of Goodell on the ground before the game and they were talking about the games in UK and then the reporter also asked Goodell what he thought of the stadium and Goodell made it a point to guide the answer to the point he wanted to made by saying how the only reason he came to this ground today was respect for this stadium and how it's such an awesome stadium and it's hosted superbowls and he wanted to the make sure the stadium gets a good send-off in its last game and he came to pay his respects etc. It was hilarious. He was twisting and turning to send out the narrative that he wasn't avoiding the Patriots and he only came to Atlanta two weeks in a row because of his respect for the stadium. It was hilarious.

How dare you downplay the historic reference to the Georgia Dome in Ludacris's song What's Your Fantasy.

And Brett Favre was traded to Green Bay the very same year they moved into the Georgia Dome. The Falcons also got thrashed in the Super Bowl after a season there.

As you can see, a rich history indeed. Roger is not wrong to celebrate its significance.
