During the comeback Brady through VERY hard passes, including the one that was too hard to Edelman and was bailed out by Amendola's TD on the next play.

I don't think he could have punched through Seattle's speedy defense without that ball velocity. So it's a good thing he didn't have to suffer the handicap of velocity-reducing under-inflated balls.
