It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I am hoping White can make one or the other next year or the year after with better coaching. Barmore probably has the talent too if he can stay on the field (not that blood clots are his fault).Congrats to Gonzalez in only his 2nd season.
He has lifted the BB drafting curse on defense making an All Pro or Pro Bowl.
If the team was better, he'd probably have made both Pro Bowl and 1st team All Pro. You either have to be a really special player or the team needs to be good.prob 1st team if whole D was better
White needs to play with his hand in the dirt. Him along the edge was a bad idea even in his 1st year with Bill. He does need some more rush moves as Tackles took away his only move after his 1st two games catching teams off guard.I am hoping White can make one or the other next year or the year after with better coaching. Should be 1st team. Still, it's better than a full snub. Congrats Gonzo (and Schooler)
One could argue we have guys at two of the top four most important positions on a team. Quarterback is obviously the most important spot and while it is a small sample size Maye looks legit. Gonzo looks like he is pretty close to a shut down corner. Now they have the money/draft capital to fill the glaring needs at tackle and pass rusher. Whether they get it right or not is a different story.Well deserved. He was a bright spot.
Having a guy like that who can limit a WR1 in single coverage is another key piece that the new coach doesn't need to worry about.
No, I think it's more because he's on a really bad team. Aquib Talib became a household name once he was playing man on a Super Bowl contending team in NE. Ditto to Gilmore. He had no one to cover for most of the Rams game. Nacua and Kupp were wherever he wasn’t. Genius defensive strategy. I wonder if that cost him.
Having watched the CBs top ones AFC and NFC I don't see any of them with the size and coverage ability that gonzo has.Well deserved. He was a bright spot.

Yep. As we learned in the BB years, having a deep, well-rounded roster is just as important as having superstars. One could argue we have guys at two of the top four most important positions on a team. Been following pro football since the early 60's. I have NEVER seen a cb have the start Gonzo has had in his 1st 2 seasons.Having watched the CBs top ones AFC and NFC I don't see any of them with the size and coverage ability that gonzo has.
